Prosthesis 1.0


As 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies become more ubiquitous design will begin to reorient itself around the user/citizen as it had in previous eras before the industrial revolution. This has happened/is happening/going to happen at various scales and for various products. My interest extends into exploring the potential for parametric models to begin to be driven by body morphologies. Using the Xbox Kinect along with a Grasshopper parametric definition, I am currently prosthesis 1.0 explores the potential for custom garments and jewelry through parametric definition of the body.
